We have several City Teams that assist with our vision of loving, building and leading. These teams are a great way to serve others and to also meet new people.
The Amp’d Youth Ministry at City Church is looking for individuals who have a passion for teenagers. We are dedicated to empowering teens to be Amplified for Christ! You can serve in the capacity of outreach, events, transportation, or service. Amp’d Youth qualifications include successful completion of a background check.
Breakfast Team members have the awesome opportunity to set up a small continental breakfast for City volunteers in the VIP Room every Sunday between the two Worship Experiences. We are charged with cleaning up the VIP Room and Lounge (if necessary) afterwards and confirming that all items have been removed.
The Celebration Team has the honor of praying for people at the altar after every Sunday Worship Experience. Our goal is to lead people to Jesus and for them to experience Him in a real way.
The City Kids Team has the privilege of caring for and teaching our children on a weekly basis during our worship experiences. Classes are divided into five groups: Infant 0-23mos, 2yrs, 3-4yrs, 5-6yrs, and Kids 7-12. City Kids qualifications include successful completion of a background check.
City’s Dance Team members have the privilege in praise and worshipping God in dance every quarter. An audition is required.
Educational Ministry Team members have the privilege in assisting with Outpouring School of Ministry. You can serve on the Registration Team, Materials Team, Preaching Schedule Team, or Video/Sound/Music Team.
The Greeting Team has the privilege to welcome those who come to our church, as well as assisting our guests by answering any questions they may have. The only qualification for this group is a friendly smile.
Grounds Team members have the privilege in assisting with the maintenance of City Church, inside and outside. This may include mowing, weeding, snow removal, etc.
Information Team members greet guests and direct them toward the Worship Experience doors. Team members also answer any questions and stock the materials for the Information Desk.
The IT Team focuses on the design of technological information systems, including computing systems, and communications support needs: In more detail, computer hardware and software components, database, and telecommunications.
Media & Lights Team provides an avenue that impacts every aspect of the Worship Experience, and empowers people to enter into God’s presence. We do the video announcements, website, printed materials, and assist the message with presentation. Training is provided.
The OneLife College Ministry at City Church is looking for individuals who Love Boldly, Live Authentically, and Pursue the heart of God. Students and post-college adults are encouraged to serve as part of our growing team. Participation in OneLife is a commitment to college students and God.
The Praise Team has the honor of leading the congregation in praise and worship every week. Our goal is to usher the congregation into the presence of God. An audition is required.
The Security Team is looking for individuals who regard the overall safety of the Senior Pastors and the congregation as their main objective. The team’s primary goal is to provide discreet and professional security services while blending into the fabric of the City Church community. Security Team qualifications include successful completion of a background check.
Shuttle Team members have the opportunity to provide rides for the guests who park across the street in the school’s parking lot. You must have a valid state issued driver’s license to drive for this shuttle service.
Sound Team members strive to provide a comfortable Worship Experience so it’s enjoyable for everyone. The sound is important for the clarity of music, speaking and more to be heard and understood with ease. Every effort is important and the sound team is no different on a weekly basis. Training is provided.
Usher Team members play an important role in assisting those who attend a Worship Experience to open seating, making them feel welcomed, wanted and comfortable. Other team responsibilities include preparing communion, receiving tithes and offerings, and the occasional set-up for illustrated sermons.
City Culture Ministries is the name given to a group of teams whose mission is to love people by connecting them at City Church. We build by introducing and growing them in the culture at City Church, and help them find their place in the Kingdom and here at City. We lead by serving and demonstrating the character of Jesus inside and outside the church walls. Our teams include: Encounters, BUILD, BUILD II, Baptism, and Baby Dedication.
